: I used to stop (key word used to) there on my way home from work last summer. Never had any luck on several occasions. My understanding that the Northerns in there make their way into the lake from the nearby Des Plaines river. Best of luck to you and please post if you do have any success. I drive by there every day.

----I used to fish it years ago and spent some time there this spring.......its good for crappies up at the NE corner near the cement launch/slab w Minnies and a 1/16 oz geronimo jig..........bass were slow on motor oil plastic worms..but theres fish in there and has been for years. Northerns there too but hard to catch cuz they spend most of their time away fm shore out in the deep hole. good luck sometimes in early am with golden roaches bout 3inchsize on a size O hook /use slip bobbers. I usually fish Bend and if nuthins goin on---go over to Axehead and worm for bass. Good fishing.
