Horsetail was wide open but couldn't locate any fish. I was only there about an hour and tried moving here and there, but still only covered about 20% of the lake. I was trying spikes, waxies and red worms with a slip float. If I had more time I would have set up a two hook rig and bottom fished in the deeper water. I tried the shallow end first and kept moving towards the deep end.. Not even a bite. Saganaskee was still iced over, (even the spillway had almost no open water) Maple was wide open but I didn't see anyone fishing it. No idea on the Tampier situation. Hopefully the I & M will treat me better...
