I stopped by Saganaskee at about 16:00 Sunday and watched someone fishing by the spillway. He was catching quite a few yellow bass(or were they stripers???) on a small jig and wax worm. He also caught a few shad on a small jig and chart. twister tail. The fish were small(about 4'' on the bass and 5'' on the shad) Then gate was STILL up, but it may have been due to the snow.
