: Does any body know of a good place to fish in the schaumburg area?

I'm going to give you a tip on a lake that is really under fished but, that has
some quality Largemouth Bass and Crappie. The lake, which I lived on for 3 years
but don't anymore, is on the corner of Schaumburg Rd. and Park Blvd. It is actually
in Streamwood but sooooo close to Schaumburg that I consider it Schaumburg. I don't
even know the name of the lake. It is just west of Barrington Rd. on the north
side of the street. Here's the best tip that can give you that helped me to catch
many, many Bass over 3 lbs. in this lake. Fish the drains that empty into the lake
either during or after it rains. Use a silver 1/8oz Rattle Trap. When there is
current comming out of these drains it is not uncommon to catch 15 or more of these
quality fish. One more tip. This is a private lake for the most part with public
access on part of the west side, all of the south side and some of the NE corner
of the lake. I always park at the Victorian Park apartments and start working there.

Hope my tips help you catch fish. I only ask that you release what you catch. The people
who live on this lake do an excellent job of maintaining it. That's why the fish
are so big for such a small shallow lake.

Thanks,

Dave
