: : I have tried so many times to catch Walleye and Catfish from Tampier Lake with absolutely no success. I'm good at catching the carp and bass from the lake, I just would really like to catch a walleye or cat out of there. I catch walleyes out of Wisconsin every year I go up. I just cannot master those dang Lake Tampier Walleyes. Any info on where on the lake and how to would be great. Same with the cats. I really enjoy catching those cats. They are great fun, but I can't find em' in there. So any info where and how to catch the cats also would be great. Thanks.

: Chris,

: I fished Tampier Almost every Sunday last Spring & Summer. I was fishing
: mostly for Bass But had no luck. I mostly caught some nice size Cats that
: put up on hell of a fight. I caught them all in the same general area each
: and every Sunday like clockwork. The funny thing is that I caught them all
: on a small bass minnow using a #6 Baithook. The are that I caught them is in
: the are from were the concrete handicap dock like thing near the baitshop. I
: would catch them between there and about 25 yards west of that concrete platform.
: I hope I have the same luck in that same area this year. I like tampier lake but
: I have yet seen anyone or myself catching any bass there.

I've caught bass in tampier. Throw that live bait away and tie on a spinnerbait!
Walk and cast the shoreline till your feet are sore, then walk some more. Fan cast ahead of you also parrallel to the shore. You need to cover ground. Other
lures to try: Bass Asssassins or other soft plastic jerk baits, 3-4" tube jigs,
buzzbaits, 6 to 10" plastic worms and topwaters.
As far as cats go try stinkbaits on a dipworm.
