Didn't fish them today(03/27) but made a stop at both. Parked in the 95'th street lot at Maple and only saw maybe a dozen anglers scattered across the lake. Just one dad/son fishing near the 95th lot and they weren't having much luck. Had to listed to some drunks say "f**k you" over and over(saying this to each other) for a good 15 minutes before I finally left. Then proceeded to sag and saw a bunch of kids having a blast snagging the shad. They weren't purposely snagging them, its just there are so many of them you can't help not snagging one! A few other anglers were going for cats but no-one was having any luck. Not too many anglers at Saganskee either, strange. Hopefully I'll be posting a good I & M report after my excursion Sunday. My last attempt was doomed as there was still ice on the canal LOL. No rain, till after I fish, PLEASE!!!!
