: : Approached 2 Cook County Forest Preserve Policemen who had been sitting in two squad cars parked head to toe talking to each other today. After about an hour I approached them and asked why they were not checking the anglers who were fishing by the dam. They responded that they check anglers at Busse all the time and that checking licenses etc. was part of their duties. I told them that I have fished Busse Lake for 15 years and have been checked only twice and that was by the Department of Conservation. They continued to hold to their story. How can we get DuPage County to annex Busse Lake so we can get something done to check the game violators and to do something about the poor management of the Forest Preserves // Comments ???

: : I finally shook this flu bug that's been killing me all month and made it out to Busse lake yesterday.

: They check anglers for licences all the time huh? I've been fishing Busse for about 12 years and have never been checked for a license let alone seen a Conservation guy anywhere but parked in the shade reading a paper. I agree that something has to be done to get these areas policed and managed.

: Anyways, the fishing was pretty good yesterday. I picked up a few walleyes: 12 inches, 13 inches and a nice 18 incher tossing and dragging 1/16 oz chartruese jig with a neon yellow twistertail. Like a few weeks ago, I didn't get a bite until I put some more of that walleye scent formula on. It doesn't seem likely that walleyes would hit a lure because of that, but it's starting to get me wondering...

: :
Where did u get the walleyes at?
