Lots of smallies at Graue and also near the wilderness center. These are newly dreged areas, and they tend to get deep quick.
I should know, Ive swam parts of it last season...involutarily.

: : Does anyone have any informantion on the water quality of the Salt Creek. I talked to a gentlemen who says that he pulls smallies out of the Salt Creek. I have lived a stone throw from the salt creek for all my life and have never even thought of fishing in it. If there are fish in the creek can someone supply me with a good spot to try? I live in the Brookfield/Lyons area and the closer you can put me the better. Thanks. Fish on.....

: Adam,
: If you are familiar with the bike trail by the Brookfield zoo it runs along
: the Salt Creek. Anywhere on this trail you can pick up smallies, pike
: largemouth etc. Also try by the grahe mill. Good luck
