It was good to get outside yesterday and enjoy the weather. No bites prior to 6:00 pm, but once the sun went down behind the trees the walleyes picked up. I caught 3 walleyes between 6 and 6:30 2 on a chartreuse jig and neon yellow twistertail, and one walleye on a green jig with a fire-tiger twister. Same as usual. casting and bouncing the jig off of underwater rock piles. All three walleyes were pretty small around 14 and 15 inches.
