I have been to plainfield resort twice since it opened last saturday. The Trout action has been very good. They stock it with 13 to 16 inchers, which are bigger than the ones I catch at axehead. No luck with crappie yet, they must not be in shallow yet. When the crappies come in, I have great luck in the area called trout heaven using a 1/32 jig tipped with a minnow. I caught about 50 last spring flipping the jig into the submerged trees. As far as bass I have only caught some small ones and one decent three pounder with rubber worms. The people I have seen bring in big bass were covering all the weed beds in a boat.It seems alot of people go for the big cats they have in there.
