Went to Maple on Saturday and did so well, we went back Sunday (leaving before the start of the Bears game of course)...Saturday yielded 3 bass over 16" and about 10 in the 8-10" range...also caught 13 crappies (3 guys fishing)...Sunday brought 1 18" bass and many more in the range of 8-12"...my buddies stayed during the Bears game and they got 31 fish between 2 boats and 3 hours...I believe they said they got 1 pike, many small bass, about 15 crappies, and a couple of gills...they were using minnnows on crappie rigs...as for how we got the bass over 16" is a secret I must keep... Lake is no longer renting boats until next spring (April 15th?)...It was fun to get out on a boat there one final weekend.
