: : On Saturday(5/22) I ran in the 5K run at Busse Woods. As I ran I noticed a disturbing trend, almost every angler fishing for bluegills was keeping those under 8 inches. If bluegill fishing is going to improve at Busse, us ethical anglers must call these poachers in. The new bluegill limit at Busse is 10 fish per day, with a minimum size limit of 8 inches.

: Putting up signs would be of some help as even I forgot if Busse was one of the CCFP waters that had the size restriction. I still say the gills are stunted. How can there be litteraly hundreds(actually thousands) of gills the same size????

If you noticed they have signs about limits for bass on some of the lakes. They probably don't want to put these signs for Busse gills , because they know themselves that these gills are stunted -- so many of them and all are the same size.... Or maybe we just don't know something???!!! Maybe in the middle of North Pool there swim BIG 15feet PapaGill and MamaGill and all this HUGE number of small gills--all same size is the result of their reproductive activity!
We're gonna have to play by the rules but as a result your nightcrawler will get torn to pieces by these little terrorists before anything else has a chance to hit it.
Good Luck!
