Fished Maple Lake from 10:30 - 14:30 with two other NWMA members. I fished the west side of the bay(NE of the point) and caught 12 gills. Started out using a float, and the last hour switched to bottom fishing. Float caught less fish, but larger. Some decent gills, around 6 - 6.5''. Another member was fishing in about the middle of the north bay(adjacent to the 95th St lot) in about 8' of water. He ended up with 5 gills before giving up due to the normal CCFP idiots tossing rocks in the water. The other angler was fishing a little to the west of the 95th St lot(deeper water). He ended up with a nice mixed bag of gills, perch, crappies and green sunfish. I saw a couple of anglers walk the north shoreline, east of the point, and cast for Bass. As far as I know, neither caught one. Little bass all over the place. Looks like the last two year classes had a good breed. A nice day to be out.
