topwater bite

Fished a pond in South Naperville, Friday from 7:15-8:45 P.M.
3 LM 10", 1 LM 13". Also had four hits that I failed to set the hook properly. Too anxious.
Three were caught on a Heddon Torpedo and one was taken with a black buzzbait. This was my first attempt at fishing a topwater and I think I now have a better understanding of Eric's posts.
