Thanks to some advice from Riverside Sports, my 10-year-old daughter and I spent a nice morning at Jericho Lake, just west of Aurora. Using worms and a slip bobber, she was able to catch as many 'gills as she wanted. Most were small, but she had fun. In between helping her, I caught a few small largemouths on a yellow twister. I also found several bass still on their beds on the south end of the lake.
