Went out to criket creek f.p. yesterday(12-6) afternoon/evening(3-5).
Used Slip bobber rigs with ice jigs. Bait was waxies, crawlers, and crappie minnows. Nothing on waxies or crawlers so switched to the minnows and WOW!!! From about 4:10 till about 5:15 non-stop crappies. All ranging from the smallest 8inches to the two biggest 1-12incher and 1-13.5incher. In total between 3 people 30+ crappie and 1 green sunfish(4.5in.). Gonna try again today.
Go out now before the ice up and take advantage of the hungry crappies!!!!
