Fished Barth Pond(Downers Grove) from about 09:30 - 12:30 and caught gills, gills, and more gills. I was also trying for Carp using corn, but the &#@!* gills would hit that to ;-( Some of the gills were decent size, running around 7 - 8'' and were within 10 feet of the shoreline. I was catching them on corn, redworms or maggots. Saw one nice Carp(around 10 lbs) trying to swim up the stream. I also caught one dink Bass, but am not sure what that population is like since I have only fished the lake three times. All fished released....
