Thanks Mark. Waiting to feel the weight of the fish was something I had read about this past winter, but you are right, it is harder to do than it sounds. Those first few fish got my adrenaline pumping and I was strictly reacting to what I was seeing. Then I stopped for a minute and thought about what I should be doing. After that I waited and my results improved. There is a big difference between reading and understanding something and actually putting time on the water and doing it.
