Yes, the main pool is just south of Higgins Road. North of Higgins is part of the main pool but isn't worth fishing to me. It is very shallow, there is one deep spot that might hold a few fish. The bridge area has current and will hold some fish.
Busse is not an easy lake to fish. Your best bet is Bass and Panfish. Don't get the wrong impression from the recent reports. Most of the Recent Busse reports are from guys who have been fishing it for years. Even these guys find it hard to consistently catch fish at Busse. However, the action does seem to increase in spring and fall.
