Was out last night on west loon fishing for eyes with a buddy. We did pretty well on 12" fish, thru them all back. 3/3 on Flags. Almost saw someone meet their maker early. A guy who was out at the tavern on the west loon on a 4 wheeler went through the ice on the north end of the lake. It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed. The guy had just picked up his wheeler at Nielsens and it had less than 3 miles on it and it went in on north end of loon lake. He is alright but I was not sure if the Lake County police issued him a DUI. If you go out to this lake park at the launch and walk the west shore. Be Careful and Be Safe!
