I was fishing downstream from the dam. Yeah I was pretty surprised too that they'd still be biting on crankbaits considering the water temp is probably in the low to mid 30's. You have to work the baits extremely slow and give the fish ample time to look at it and respond to it. Cast it out, get it below the water surface and just let it sit there.
