I'd suggest driving a little bit further & hitting Marsellies(sp?) if they re open it next season...I've seen some extremely big buck's there...And if they do re open next season...The fact that they had no pressure on them this past season may help your chances on filling your tag's..Also you can try the Green River conservation area in Harmon,IL...Good luck & shoot straight...
