Most folks would've had some land lined up BEFORE acquiring a tag. I would suggest first finding some decent public land that you can hunt on - IF it exists in that county. This way, if you can't find private land to hunt on (which is very probable) you at least have a back-up plan.
It's extremely difficult to get permission to hunt private property in Illinois nowadays unless you know somebody. Start talking to anybody and everybody you know NOW as you're running out of time quickly... Focus on finding some land to hunt on. Don't worry about the quality of the hunting. If it's "very good" it's probably already accounted for...
