On the way in last night on Pistakee I brought back in with me about a dozen cans, which I easily discarded in the dumpster in the parking lot. It wasn't just beer drinkers but soda also. I have to admit though this problem doesn't seem to be as bad as back in the 80's when I was picking up so much of it each time out there was little room left on the sled for my equipment. I like to think that a big reason for what seems like a reduction in the litter on the ice is because there's many more concerned anglers involved in the sport nowadays...many of which I've concluded are visitors and active members of the BB's at this website;-) It's a shame we have to clean up after a few bad apples, but I think if those responsible see us maybe a few will follow our lead.
