: Another mixed bag on Pistakee today with an improvement in quality over the last trip. C&R around 40 nice black & white crappies from deep water, 11 big white bass and 30+ more small ones, 5-6 catfish, 11 drum, 8 big bluegills, 4 perch, 1 walleye, 4 nice yellow bass and around 15 baby yellows, one itty bitty largemouth. Nice bluegills in 10 feet of water in the first hour, a couple just shy of 9". Although I got 40 nice crappies getting them was alot of work. I'd get 1-3 in a hole and then the school would spook, scatter or move to the other holes nearby and off I'd go again. Some of the white crappies were over 14" with most of the blacks in the 10-13" range. The crappies were suspended way up, only 7-12 feet down over 20+ feet of water. Drum & cats(both averaged around 2lbs) under the crappies, and then most of the stripers on the bottom but the bigger whites were up over the smaller ones which is usually how they stage. All fish caught on my ;-) homemade ice jig with 2-4 spikes added. Good ice of over a foot in most places with very easy traveling. All of the snow on the ice was gone...bring your creepers...it's slick!!! A constant jigging action took everything but the cats and drum which hit when stationary. I'm seeing stars I better post this before fall asleep;-)

Hey Dave, You forgot the Partridge in the pear tree!!!!
