I m glad to hear that as of Tuesday - its now Thurs and 60 degrees- that the ice
was still 6-8 inches!!! I would hope that with the cold front coming in tonight
that the ice will thicken up. Hopefully it will be safe by Sunday or Monday.
One thing I thought I would add Doug, is that on 2/3 when I was out there
after 5 pm, they crappies would not hit unless I just left the the Jig completly
still. Any attempt at jigging real fast and furiously would result in them
running for cover very quickly.
Guess thats why lots of people find it so challenging!!!
