I was in the Twin Cities area over the weekend and they still have about 1 foot of ice. Permanent shanties had to be off by midnight last night. I was at a dinner Saturday evening on Lake Minnetonka and there were a few cars and shanties still out. Open water on the Mississippi up there with boats out and the same was true on the St. Croix River.
