If that bathroom scale is anything like my mother-in-laws, then that 17Lb fish was probably closer to 27 lb! I forget...did we get a girth measurement on that fish? I'm just guessing the girth from memory, it wasn't really fat but not skinny either...maybe 23 inch? using length x girth x girth formula:
L 32inch X G 23inch = 736 x G 23 = 16928 or just a tad under 17 lb, sounds just about right to me.
