Like I said in my post, it's NOT ( always)the writers... but rather the EDITORS who mess things up, I"ve talked with Duke concerning this subject, sometimes even HE doesn't recognize his own words by the time the editor is through cutting & snipping, I'm sure Dale would tell you the same thing, only so much room on a page, gotta make it fit & keep the readers interested. And speaking of the Duke...for those who might be interested... the first of this seasons "Let's Talk Fishing" shows will start next saturday at "The Edge" (147th & Cicero) Don Dziedina will be taping his TV show there this weekend, time is from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Mike Norris will also be there on this date & the following week ( Sat 27th) Mike has graciously consented to be our Guest speaker, Guys,this is a great way to spend a saturday afternoon, the speakers are alway informative,usually having a Q & A session after they speak, the free food is steller ( make a small donations please) & there is a RAFFLE (At the END of the DAY) with prizes of fishing equipment, tools, fishing hats (signed by pro's), camping equipment...and ALL proceeds from the raffle go to fund Duke O'Malley's "Kids Fishing Derby" at Tampier in the spring, providing the kids with tackle & hats, bait, pop & loads of great prizes, if your not doing anything come on out & enjoy the show, eat some of Catfish Bills famous (shorelunch style)cooking, maybe win a prize & have a chance to meet the guys you see on TV, hear on the Radio, & read in the Papers, & bring those budding young fisherpersons along, this is a family place, & kids are welcome, as are wives mothers,sisters & girlfriends!
