Maybe it is also the people calling in the reports. It is very easy for info to get skewed after a story has been told from one person to another and another, etc. The reports may have been third, fourth, or fifth hand. I just found it funny that the two most read outdoors reporters in our newspapers had different stories and that they were both wrong! This is the first time that I have witnessed a great catch that has been misrepresented in the media. All I am saying is that I will not believe EVERYTHING that is posted in the papers. I used to believe the reports and have had good luck using this informative tool. Now I will believe what is being caught, but disregard depths, numbers caught, lures used, etc. That is why this board is so valuable...we get reports first-hand (and they are from the people out there catching the fish, not some reporter who relies on phone calls, e-mails, etc.)
