I could tolerate 6 or 8 months of open water myself right about now, now don't get me wrong...I really love Ice fishing ( & the Vex has made it even more enjoyable, as I enjoy "catching fish" over just "fishing for fish") but lets face it guys...we go out into the freezing cold, & stand for hours over a little hole in the ice wishing & hoping, & hoping & praying to catch a few dinky little fish that we wouldn't waste five minutes on come soft water time...if & when that old thermometer on the wall starts hitting the 40º+ mark with a gentle southwest breeze...Look out Lake Michigan because here I come! I feel the need to catch me one (or 20)of those beautious Smallmouth Bass & I think I know just the spot, so you better get that Indiana Licence Bassman..you never know when you'll be getting that call that says "it's SMALLIE-TIME".
