Went to North Point Harbor 01-20-01 4:30 to 7pm,
(Winthrop Harbor, IL - Sheridan and 7th street.
I fished with Lue, we fished midway down (north)
between pier I and J in 8 fow.
I had bassman's luck with me and no vex.
Lue had a vex, and did get a 3.3 inch gill
in a non vex hole & a 4.2 inch Chpy in another non vex hole.
I saw 4 other folks out most had tipups no flags.
The trick may be the ownership of a VEX rather than the use of the unit ???
