South end of the lake, is the most producive.
Lots of gills, crappie, with an occassional walleye and northern.
Gills are plentiful in the weeds, within a foot of the bottom.
Many crappies suspending, above the weeds, with some just under the ice.
Just under the ice, such that, they are only a foot or two down.
Best bite from 4 - 7pm, for the crappie.
TIP: night fishing---a light draws the plangton, which draws the minnows,
which draws the crappie.
A lantern placed near a hole works good.
