Fished Montrose harbor from 7-8 this morning with little success, maybe 2 or 3 lil ones with not many biting. Good turnout though. Left and headed to the pier where I would experience the best fishin through the ice as of now. 80+ perch between me and my buddy, with 50% in the slot including tons of 10-11 inch jumbos. Fished from 8:45-12:30. We didn't keep anything except the 4lb brown we managed to pull through the freezing water. That was a wonderful surprise considering we were using ice poles and 4lb test. All fish were caught on jigging rapalas tipped with spikes.
