Fished Lake Marie Sunday 2/11/01 from 1:00pm till 6:30pm. We went there in search of the elusive Walleye but never found them. Tried everything including tip-ups. Total Walleye - 0.
The day was not a complete waste because the White bass were really turned on! We caught them consistently all day. I can not tell you how many we caught because we did not count or keep any.
The fish ranged from 8 to 12". All fish were caught in 26 feet of water on the bottom with Swedish pimples tipped with spikes. Not one Yellow Bass! I would have rather caught Walleye but White Bass can be a lot of fun.
