From the park there is a point next to the cove walk straight out from this point. There is a bar that crosses from the point to the north shore line go towards the seewall (RT 22) drilling holes as you go mabie every 10 or 15 feet you will soon find the deeper water the weeds will grow to about 10' of water if you get past the 10' foot mark go back a few feet and drill another hole this is a steep drop off the bar you should be able to find some walleyes and n northerns along this drop and crappies in the deeper hole should get up to 30 feet of water as you go towards the seewall.
