Sun 3/4: Intended to go out first thing in the morning, but instead went out for the afternoon. Was never able to hook up with Dave Newman and Mr. Walleye. Half dozen 5-6" gills on waxies, 10 dink perch on waxies. One 26" pike on 3" fathead minnow on jigging rod, 1 larger pike (probably around 10#-ish) bite off in hole on 3" fathead minnow on jigging rod. No flags. Lots of people out on the lake.
Mon 3/5: Did not have shanty and constant 20 mph wind blew my a** off the lake. 4 small gills and some dink perch, no flags. Ice was solid 13" - looking to go out again later this week and maybe this weekend. What does everyone think about ice conditions through this week? Is anyone still hitting the hardwater? Thanks!
