Tight lineing is what these guys called it. It simply is a no bobber presentation. What you do is you tie on your favorite jig and let it go to the bottom, then simply raise and lower you pole as you see fit. Slight jiggle, 2" drops, swimming your lure or whatever. Very important to have line that is quite visible. Yellow works well. Watching your line is key to this type of fishing. Because fish are stacked @ different depths, this presentation allows you to cover them all.

It's a little different @ first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back to bobber fishing.

I sat there and watched these 3 retired guys catch one after the other. They all said "Mick,lose the bobber". So I did, and my catch ratio went up right off the bat. I was then catching one right after the other. We had drilled several holes and when one died we just went to another and started catching more fish.
