what kinds of fish do you normally catch on the tip-ups and what weight mono do you use? I lost an estimated 35-40" Northern earlier this winter because the mono was cut by one of those teeth. We estimated the size based on where the tail was under the ice while the head of the fish was in the hole. Anyway, I'm just curious about leader weight. I normally use 10 lb test.
