No luck for perch or coho on Sunday at Montrose. About 25 guys and less than a handful of dinky perch and a small coho all morning. About all we did was catch a good north wind blowin up the butt. Early in the afternoon I look down the walk and this guy has this decent fish on...."Brown", I thought. Nope abot a 32" Northern he snagged realing in his perch line. To make it worse...no net! He snags the fish in the gill w/ his other line...stronger test and pulls the damn thing up the wall. The guy didn't even have any clue what kinda fish he caught. All he know it was big. CHPD rolled up and explained what it was for the guy.
