I have seen Northern and even a tiger muskie caught in belmont harbor in the seventies on the south side of the harbor of the old pier before they fixed it all up for the yuppie boaters. P.S. this is also where the smallmouth used to spawn before anybody knew there were smallmouth in Chicago.
