Checked out Port of Indiana Sun from shore. About 5 guys fishing, No sign of lakers yet. Water temp 53 degrees. Haven't been there in awhile. Public access improved-more room! Looks like it will be nice for smallies in spring/summer. Stopped at Dean Mitchell in lovely Gary. It appears more fish are comming out of there. Asked the guard how many fish were caught. She replied about 20. I was number 69 going in. Saw a guy with a nice steelhead on his way out. We got skunked though.
