I think I was the guy fishing next to you using 3 poles. Were you the angler with the bicycle? They definitely were biting, but biting very lightly. Unfortunately, out of 30 caught perch, none of mine even maded 8"! I just read that perch travel in separate schools of their own size. The larger ones avoid hanging with the little guys because the little ones are quicker at snatching up the food. I should have casted nearby, but a little farther out to find some bigger fish.
