I fished Navy Pier for the first time this morning. (and I was the ONLY nut out there) The entire south side is frozen and all of the north side was frozen except for a 40 ft stretch that was slush. Fishing through the slush I ended up with 9 keeper perch, tossed back 13 little guys (mostly about 6"), and caught nothing over 10". The action was pretty constant with mostly light bites. Almost all were caught on minnows and a few of the small ones on spikes. By the time I left, the slush was freezing, leaving basically no fishing access. Parking is horrible unless you want to spend $13+ to park in the garage. I brought my bike in the car to get to the pier and the closest free parking I found was at Lincoln Park zoo!
