my father-in-law is a vietnam vet, and he is extremly proud to be. he was crying last year at his 50th bithday party, saying so many of his friends were killed and they will never see the age of 50. i am 28 and im really too young to appreciate what the war was about, but i'll tell you one thing, my father-in-law wears a vietnam baseball cap, and seeing how proud he is when a stranger comes up and thanks him for their freedom is priceless. thank a veteran, words go a long way.
