With Spring winding down And Summer around the corner, I'm thinking of the Chinook Salmon fishing on the shelf in Manistee. My Charters spring averaged 20 fish on full day trips with an average of 4 to 6 adult Kings. This was out of St. Joseph. As this message is being written the Kings are biting as far North as Manistee. There about 3 weeks early. From Grand Haven to Frankfurt the Late summer July/August fishing for Kings should be great again this year. Look here
