Finally made it out and it was a beautiful day. Fishing, however, left something to be desired. We got 2 brown trout in front of Baileys and snagged 6 Big Shad, 2 to 4 lbs,. Got nothing else there but did lose a steelhead that jumped and got off. Believe this or not stopped at the hot water discharge inside of the port at US Steel and got a 4lb Smallie on a Golden Roach on the bottom. No other hits there. Stopped in the Mouth of tne Ditch on the way in and Got a 12 lb. Steelhead on a chartruese 1/8 oz jighead and tail. Did not see a Coho. Some friends were at baileys monday and had 12 Brown Trout but I think the Shad chased them out. Weather permitting will do it again next week. There was one wader at baileys when we were there but I didnt see him do anything.
