Dave couldn't be any closer to the truth. I was out last Sat. and did OK. The water is still a little cold yet, but there are indeed scattered schools of coho. IF you don't get a coho, you have a good chance of catching a brown or two. They cruise close to the rocks and breakwalls. You can easily catch them with a crawler under a bobber or for bigger browns try some large roaches. They are deadly!! Also if you drift a bobber close to the rocks you can catch BIG smallies. Sat. I caught a 3#er off of a large roach under a bobber. I would definetely recomend not going where the paper says the fishing is good. You can catch cohos/browns/steelhead anywhere you can find rocks, warm water, or deep water close to shore. Rarely do I go where the paper advertises. I do just fine.
