Took my buddy up to the Mississippi last week to do some jigging for eyes .We did pretty good catching alot of fish most being a little short but managed to catch a couple of beauties.The largest being just shy of 10# and the other 7.5#. Had most are luck 15 to 20 feet useing 3 ways as my friend stayed with that but I had more luck going with a 1/4 ounce jig and grape tale. All in all a good time ,this was my buddys biggest eye he ever caught and promptly brought it in to get mounted . The fishing should realy turn on with in a couple weeks.
