PLYWOOD FLOORS IN JONBOATS

Any suggestions on what thickness I should use for plywood floor on my new jon boat? free float the plywood or screw it to the ribs?
Common sense says i should use 3/4 inch. Is styrofoam between the ribs a good idea? Any alternative idea's?
